Welcome to RideX Ride, a ride-sharing platform operated by RIDEX DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES LTD., Bangladesh.
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the RideX Ride website, mobile applications and related services.
By registering, accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
2. About Our Services
RideX Ride provides a technology-based platform connecting passengers with independent driver-partners for car and motorcycle ride services.
The platform facilitates ride requests, driver-partner connections, ride information, fare displays and supported payment facilities.
3. User Registration
Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
Users are responsible for:
- Providing correct personal and contact information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
- Keeping their account information updated.
- Not sharing their account with unauthorized persons.
- Informing us if they suspect unauthorized account access.
We reserve the right to restrict or suspend accounts involved in fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activities, subject to applicable law.
4. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers agree to:
- Provide accurate pickup and destination information.
- Treat driver-partners respectfully.
- Follow applicable safety instructions.
- Pay the applicable fare for completed rides.
- Avoid unlawful, abusive or dangerous behaviour.
- Not misuse the RideX Ride application or services.
5. Driver-Partner Responsibilities
Driver-partners using the platform are responsible for:
- Providing accurate identity and vehicle information.
- Maintaining valid driving licences and required vehicle documents.
- Complying with applicable Bangladesh traffic and transportation laws.
- Maintaining vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
- Treating passengers professionally and respectfully.
- Following applicable ride-sharing regulations.
- Completing accepted rides responsibly.
Driver-partners must not use the platform for unlawful activities.
6. Ride Booking and Availability
Ride requests are subject to driver availability and service coverage.
Submitting a ride request does not guarantee that a driver-partner will be available.
A ride is considered confirmed when the application displays the relevant confirmation or driver assignment.
Pickup and arrival times are estimates and may change due to traffic, weather, road conditions or other circumstances.
7. Fare and Pricing
The applicable ride fare will be displayed or communicated through the RideX Ride application before the passenger confirms the booking, where supported by the application.
The final payable amount will be determined according to the fare information and applicable charges displayed in the application.
Passengers are responsible for paying the applicable fare for their rides.
8. Payment Terms
RideX Ride may offer supported payment methods, including online payments through SSLCOMMERZ and other available payment channels.
All online payments are subject to the applicable payment provider's terms and security procedures.
Passengers should verify the amount before completing a transaction.
A successful payment does not necessarily mean that a ride has been completed.
Payment confirmation and ride confirmation are separate processes.
9. Cancellation
Passengers and driver-partners must follow the cancellation rules displayed in the application.
Applicable cancellation charges, if any, must be communicated to users before they confirm the relevant action.
Repeated misuse of cancellation facilities may result in account restrictions.

10. Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed according to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Eligible refunds are generally processed within 7–10 working days after approval. Actual crediting time may depend on the payment provider and the customer's bank or financial institution.
11. Safety and User Conduct
Users must use RideX Ride responsibly and comply with applicable laws.
Users must not:
- Engage in harassment, threats or violence.
- Use the platform for illegal activities.
- Submit false or misleading information.
- Interfere with the operation of the platform.
- Attempt unauthorized access to user accounts or systems.
Users should report safety concerns or suspicious activities through our official customer support channels.

13. Platform Availability

14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, RIDEX DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES LTD. shall not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Bangladesh law.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict or suspend access to the platform where there is evidence of fraud, unlawful activity, misuse, safety concerns or violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Updated terms will be published on our official website with the applicable effective date.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of Bangladesh.
Any disputes shall be handled by the competent courts or authorities in Bangladesh, subject to applicable law.
